He-Man is the heroic alter-ego of Prince Adam. As host of the Power of Grayskull, Adam channels the mysterious force through his Power Sword and becomes "the most powerful man in the universe!" Though he is technically not employed by, or enlisted in, the Eternian Guard, He-Man works alongside the forces of King Randor and often takes orders from the king or Teela. Prince Adam's pet, Cringer, transforms along with Adam to become Battle Cat, He-Man's brave steed.
