The Sorceress is the sole resident and protector of Castle Grayskull. She exists in human form within its walls, but is able to travel beyond when transformed into Zoar, an orange and white hawk. The sorceress was the person who gave Prince Adam the Sword of Power, thereby bestowing upon him the ability to transform into He-Man. Sorceress has a close bond with Man-At-Arms, often contacting him personally through telepathy when there is trouble. Teela, the Sorceress' daughter, was given to Man-At-Arms by the Sorceress, since she would be unable to care for her. It is widely rumored that Teela is actually the daughter of both the Sorceress AND Man-At-Arms, however. Teela has no knowledge of her real parents.
