Teela is the daughter of the Sorceress and an unknown Eternian soldier. She was given to Man-At-Arms to raise as his own. Only the Sorceress and Man-At-Arms know of this secret. Not even Teela knows of her true parents. It is speculated that Duncan (Man-At-Arms), himself, is the father. Teela is captain of the Eternian Guard and is often ordered by King Randor directly to defend the palace. Teela makes numerous attempts to train the king's son, Adam, but often finds him napping with Cringer, his pet, or otherwise goofing off.
